Cactus Wren was founded by Kim Moodey, whose passion for creating beautiful homes was sparked by witnessing too many negative contractor experiences. With over a decade of experience working alongside top home builders, Kim recognized the need for a more client-focused approach to construction. Her mission is to provide an enjoyable, stress-free experience for her clients by delivering clear, open communication around timelines and budgets, ensuring they are always in control.

Kim's journey began in the Design Studio at Brookfield Residential, where she collaborated with some of Southern California's leading designers. She later transitioned into construction project management and played an instrumental role in Land Development at Tri Pointe Homes in San Diego.

Driven by a deep passion for home building, Kim has worked closely with general contractors across Orange County and Los Angeles, discovering her unique talent for both construction and client relations. She is committed to truly understanding her clients' vision and needs, ensuring every project runs smoothly while delivering exceptional, beautiful results.
